In this session, we will delve into the targeted implementation of science pathways in Northeast Florida schools and the integration of the 5E instructional model, focusing on student outcomes. By aligning science education with the 5E model—engage, explore, explain, elaborate, and evaluate—schools in the region have seen notable improvements in student engagement and academic performance in science, along with the correlation to literacy.
